What was the highlight of Xperience Tulum Hotel
Beautiful hotel, great value for money
The value for money was exceptional. Our room was very large and we had our own private balcony and plunge pool which was perfect. The aesthetic of the hotel was also very beautiful. Approachable staff very friendly!
The location was a little far from the centre but still in walking distance.

Beautiful hotel, perfect room, amazing terrace views, cosy restaurant, nice vibe. Good private parking lot. Friendly staff.
Unannounced loud hotel rooftop party on Saturday evening. Area where the hotel is located is under construction (gentrification). Sticky wooden doors in our hotel room from previous guests not using the door handles, felt like it should have been clean in a hotel of this standing. Weak sound proofing in bedroom, we were listening to the generator noises until we fell asleep.

What was the highlight of Xperience Tulum Hotel
Fantasitc relaxing time, just what we needed after hiking around Patagonia! Would absolutely return
Having seen negative reviews we were a bit concerned but I'm genuonely confused what people expect beyond what they got. The place was great from the moment we arrived. We had a long transit from Patagonia so requested an early check in which was granted without a fuss. The staff were super helpful, helping us with bags with a smile and organising for our mountain of laundry to be done which came back to us within 24 hours. The room was spacious, had everything you might need and was very comfortable. I can see why people indicate a smell, the room has a certain dampness to it but in tropical areas, this is just the norm so was not a problem for us. The pizzas in the bar were great and reminded us of a quality italian wood fire pizza from home in Melbourne.
My only complaint would be the coffee, which means that im being unbeleivable picky about something that has next to no impact on my stay! My suggestion is to just spend a bit more time practising making them ;)

What was the highlight of Xperience Tulum Hotel
A pleasant stay in a lovely hotel apartment
Good sized apartmemt. Pool/courtyard area was beautiful and the bed in the room was extremely comfortable. I also liked that the kitchen was fully fitted. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Staff at the front desk were also extremely helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. They also had a small pizza spot on the property as well as a juice bar.
I wish they'd added nets to the balcony sliding doors so that we had the option of leaving them open without worrying about bugs. Because it's the jungle there were lots of bugs. On our first night a HUGE insect crawled over my husband's face while he was sleeping! Breakfast was also very expensive. Would also have appreciated having a kettle in the kitchen area. Given that tap water isn't drinkable I think complimentary bottled water each day would have been a nice addition.
